Service Description

This course covers two bases. First, participants learn basics of the Python scripting language in Jupyter Notebooks. We'll cover python setup and operation, data types, functions, libraries, methods, as well as importing and exporting. This will take up the majority of the course. With a solid Python foundation, you will then be in a position to grow your knowledge and continue to teach yourself. In the second part of the course, we'll cover a few geoscience libraries and explore their capabilities and utility. This course is designed to provide geo-professionals with the knowledge and skills they need to begin exploring programming in their domain.
